CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE TRAINING PROGRAM

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Certified Medication Aide course is approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Participants that successfully complete this course and pass the certification exam will be certified as a CMA and will be allowed to perform the duties of a CMA in long-term care facilities, for the developmentally disabled, residential care facilities, and adult day care facilities. Clinical practices are a requirement of this class and are included in the 56 hours.

Course Cost: $400

Course Prerequisites: TB skin test, social security card, and government issued ID; current CNA license and Six months working experience as a CNA. Students must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED before taking the CMA state exam.
